Waterproof microfleece that wraps your dog in weather protection.

Meet RainHug, our new over-under style dog coat, crafted from our Pour Off® waterproof microfleece.

RainHug wraps around the body to provide excellent coverage without the need for your dog to step into sleeves. Generous neck coverage helps protect the upper body, while the extended rear and tail coverage gives extra protection where it’s needed when the weather turns wet.

Reflective piping along the sides provides added visibility in dull light and darker conditions.

For dogs who wear a harness underneath their coat, RainHug™ features a covered harness access slot with popper fastening. Simply open the cover to attach the lead to the harness beneath, while the covered design helps maintain protection when the opening isn’t required.

The technical bit :

Our exclusive Pour Off® fabric combines a soft microfleece with a waterproof TPU laminate, with the laminated fabric construction tested to over 10,000 mm H₂O hydrostatic pressure. That means superb waterproof performance in a lightweight, comfortable fabric designed for everyday adventures in wet weather.

RainHug is initially available in sizes 35, 40 & 45 while we trial this new style with our customers. We hope to expand the size range in the future depending on demand. Please check the size chart carefully before ordering to find the best fit for your dog.

    About the different styles and fabrics:

    Water Resistant with Waterproof fabric underneath:
    1)     Polar Fleece / Waterproof fabric underneath McTogs - top section is polar fleece, which is warm, cosy and water resistant only. The chest / tummy section panel is waterproof fabric to help keep your dog dry underneath. There is more stretch in this product.

    Waterproof fabric:
    2)     Waterproof Pour Off® Single layer McTogs - These are our patterned fabrics - they have the appearance of a soft shell. The outer is a sleek patterned waterproof, breathable fabric, the inside is microfleece, which lies against your dog.  Due to the waterproof quality this style has 2 way stretch - so less than Polar Fleece.

    3) Double layer Waterproof Pour Off® McTogs - Most of the solid colours are made from this - it is two layers of microfleece with a waterproof membrane in between the two layers. The fabric stretch is limited on this product due to the waterproof, breathable protection quality.
